Stephens' Farm Story - Montana
Kate Stephens is a 17-year-old 4th generation farmer.
The Stephens’ family has been farming wheat in north-central Montana since 1912 when Kate’s great grandfather emigrated from Denmark and homesteaded their land.
Kate’s dad Mark had been teaching her about farming since she was two years old.
Kate runs one of the combines on the family farm at harvest.
Kate Stephens’ believes that it is important for everyone to know where their food and clothing come from and the families who produce it.
